Our most beautiful cotton matelassé bedspread is woven in an elegant trapunto style. Also called “stuffed work”, trapunto originated around the 14th century in Sicily and became popular in England and France through the 1600′s before being introduced to America by European immigrants. This bedspread has also been titled First Lady’s Choice.
